KURT COBAIN (1967-1994)
Kurt Cobain was born February 20, 1967. He led Nirvana into bringing the revolution of punk rock, but he tragically took his own life by shooting himself on April 8, 1994. At a memorial service in Seattle, soon after his death, over 10,000 people came to pay their respects to who many considered to be a hero of the era.
DAVE GROHL
Dave was the drummer for Nirvana and is now a guitarist and vocalist for the huge group, the Foo Fighters.
KRIST NOVOSELIC
He was the bass guitarist for the group, and is now the leader of Sweet 75. Novoselic was born on May 16, 1965, in Compton, California. His parents, Krist and Maria, were Croatian immigrants, Mr. Novoselic moved to the United States in 1963, his wife-to-be the following year. He has a brother, Robert, and a sister, Diana. |
